FDA and Stryker Recalls Stryker Waste Managment Systems

The FDA has issued a recall notice for a Class 1 recall of the Stryker Instruments Neptune 1 Silver and Neptune 2 Ultra Waste Managment Systems. The recall stems from reports of injury caused by incorrect application of suction without the presence of warnings against improper use of the medical device.
